Athletics Challenge 2560 1460 School Office

Dear Parents,

We are delighted to invite you to the H-FARM Athletics Challenge, a special day dedicated to athletics, designed for students from Year 3 of Primary School to Year 8 of Lower Secondary School.

It will be an opportunity to experience sport as a way to grow, connect and have fun, bringing together children and young people of different ages in a challenge that focuses not only on results, but above all on commitment, teamwork and the joy of giving something a try.

Throughout the day, students will take part in three key athletics disciplines:

  • Sprint
  • Long jump
  • Vortex throw

It will be an opportunity for students to discover their abilities, work towards improving their performance and contribute to their team’s success, while learning to approach every result with a positive attitude and a sense of perspective.

The message guiding the day will be:

“I challenge myself, strive to improve, contribute to my team and have fun with others.”

All students will be divided into 10 mixed teams of 12–13 participants.

Teams will be formed through a random draw, with six Lower Secondary students drawing the names to ensure that each team includes a mix of ages and genders.

The 10 teams will be named after the cities that have hosted the last 10 editions of the Olympic Games: Seoul – 1988, Barcelona – 1992, Atlanta – 1996, Sydney – 2000, Athens – 2004, Beijing – 2008, London – 2012, Rio de Janeiro – 2016, Tokyo – 2020 and Paris – 2024.

The H-FARM Athletics Challenge aims to promote physical well-being, self-confidence, perseverance, fair play and mutual respect, while strengthening students’ sense of belonging to our school community.

We recommend that students wear suitable sports shoes from the moment they leave school in the morning.

Awards and recognition

At the end of the competitions, the top three teams will receive a special medal designed and made by our Lower Secondary students. This award will celebrate not only sporting achievement, but also creativity and collaborative effort.

The grand finale: the 4 × 100 m relay!

The day will conclude with an exciting 4 × 100 m relay race between the Olympic teams. Each team will select its four runners for one final burst of energy, enthusiasm and team spirit.

The relay will be a fun, non-competitive event and will not count towards the overall rankings. It will be a chance for everyone to enjoy running, have fun and cheer each other on!

We look forward to seeing you there to support the students and share this special day with them!

Your presence will make the experience even more meaningful. It will be wonderful to gather trackside, applaud every effort, celebrate progress and share moments of excitement, smiles and genuine connection.

Because, after all, the greatest challenge is not about coming first, but about doing your best, growing together and feeling part of the same team.

We look forward to seeing you there to cheer on our students and enjoy the H-FARM Athletics Challenge together!
