Dear Parents,
School guidance is becoming increasingly essential when it comes to the important choice of upper secondary school. For this reason, as a private (paritaria) school, we are involved in the activities promoted by the RTS (Bassano del Grappa Territorial School Network).
Furthermore, in line with our International pathway and the educational offer provided by the IB Diploma, each year we give our students the opportunity to learn about the Diploma Programme and the academic course of study it offers, as both a continuation and an enrichment of our school project.
This is the time to begin thinking more carefully about the choice of study path to undertake in upper secondary school. For this reason, our School has organized, within the “Guidance Project,” coordinated by Prof. Grigoletto, a series of meetings addressed to Year 2 classes.
The aim is to guide our students towards a well-informed and gradually developed choice, starting from the end of Year 2 and continuing throughout Year 3.
Below are the planned initiatives:
- Friday, February 27: Students will receive from Prof. Grigoletto the “Guidance Notebook: Understanding Learning Intelligences,” proposed by the RTS (Bassano del Grappa Territorial School Network), which we recommend keeping carefully. Activities aimed at developing awareness of learning intelligences will also take place.
- Thursday, April 23: A meeting is scheduled with David Coppard, Head of High School MYP Business & Economics, for the MYP 4 and 5 programme at H-Farm Vicenza.
- Wednesday, May 12: “Career Day” – an afternoon during which parents of Year 2 students will be invited to share their professional experience and educational background with the students. (Further details will follow.)
- April 18 and 19: BassanoOrienta Fair.
Kind regards,
Student Office
