Dear Parents,

We would like to inform you that on Tuesday, April 14, an educational trip has been organized for class LS1U to Bevilacqua Castle, located in the town of Montagnana, one of the best-preserved walled cities in Europe. “Castellani per un giorno” (“Castellans for a Day”) is an initiative that combines learning and fun, encouraging students to approach medieval history with enthusiasm.

Purpose of the trip: the classes will be guided by animators dressed in medieval costumes who, combining entertainment and education, will lead students through a historically rich experience. Students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the medieval world as true protagonists.

The visit will include an external tour of all the main sites in the city of Montagnana.

During the guided visit, it will also be possible to explore the Mastio of Ezzelino, the tallest and oldest tower of Castel San Zeno, from whose panoramic terrace students will enjoy a stunning view of the walled city.

Educational objectives: students will discover the customs and traditions of castle life. This experience will allow them to learn about history in an engaging way, deepening their understanding of the cultural and social aspects of the past.

Organizational details:
Departure from H-IS Rosà by bus at 8:15 AM (all students are required to arrive at school by 8:10 AM to ensure a punctual departure).

Return to Rosà at approximately 5:00 PM.

The packed lunch provided by the school will be eaten either outdoors or indoors, thanks to the collaboration with the Villaggio della Gioventù, located just a few minutes’ walk from Montagnana’s main square.

Students will be accompanied by teachers David James and Giovanni Vedovotto.

Please note that this activity is part of the school’s educational trips and is therefore considered a regular school lesson held outside the school premises. In case of non-participation, the absence will be recorded in the electronic register.

Kind regards,
Student Office
