Dear Parents,
This year, our Primary School children are taking part in an artistic and musical project as part of Big Vote 2026, which gives them the opportunity to explore and observe different works of art through Visual Thinking Strategies. This approach encourages curiosity, helps children develop their own ideas and broadens the way they observe and interpret the world around them.
The project brings together music, movement and visual arts, exploring how sounds can be expressed through gestures, body movements and the creation of marks and images. All classes will work around the same theme, developing their creativity through workshops inspired by music, movement and dance.
We are delighted to invite you to take part in a creative workshop with your children, where you can share an engaging experience and explore new forms of artistic expression together.
Below is the schedule of the parent workshops, all of which will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on the following dates:
- Primary 4: Wednesday, 21 October
- Primary 5: Monday, 26 October
- Primary 1: Tuesday, 27 October
- Primary 3A: Tuesday, 3 November
- Primary 2: Thursday, 5 November
- Primary 3B: Tuesday, 10 November
These workshops will be a wonderful opportunity to explore the connection between music, movement and art, experimenting and sharing a creative experience together.
We hope to see many of you there! Thank you in advance for your participation and enthusiasm.
Kind regards,
Kate and Class Teachers
