Dear Parents,
On Wednesday, 21 October, Lower Secondary 1 students will take part in an educational trip to Bassano del Grappa, designed to deepen their understanding of the local area’s historical, artistic and natural heritage through hands-on experiences and practical activities.
The day will include two main activities:
- Discovering the tradition of printing: a visit to Palazzo Sturm and the Remondini Museum, where students will learn about the history of printing and take part in a practical workshop.
- Exploring the natural environment: a walk along the Brenta River trail, or part of it, to observe the landscape and the characteristics of the river environment.
This experience will allow students to discover the Remondini family’s typographic and intaglio printing traditions, try out some printing techniques, and develop a greater awareness of the local natural heritage and the importance of protecting it. It will also provide an opportunity to make meaningful connections between Technology, Art, History and Science.
Organisational details:
- Wednesday, 21 October
- Departure from school: 9:00 am
- Expected return: 3:40 pm
- Accompanying staff: Class teachers
Please note that this trip is an integral part of the school’s educational programme and therefore constitutes a full school day taking place off campus. In the event that a student does not participate, their absence will be recorded in the electronic register.
Kind regards,
Student Office
