We would like to inform you that on Thursday, 5 November, students in classes LS3A and LS3B will take part in an educational trip to the Venice Biennale.
Purpose and Learning Objectives:
The visit will offer students the opportunity to explore contemporary art through direct observation of the artworks and exhibition spaces, gaining a deeper understanding of the artists and themes presented.
Through guided discussions and reflection, students will develop their ability to observe, analyse and interpret artworks, expand their vocabulary related to the visual arts, and learn to formulate and support their own opinions.
The experience will also encourage students to engage with different artistic languages and cultures, connect the visit to topics studied in class, and strengthen their interpersonal skills by sharing a cultural experience with their classmates and teachers.
Organisational Details:
- Meeting point: 8:30 a.m. at Bassano del Grappa railway station. Please ensure students arrive on time.
- Departure: train departing at 8:47 a.m.
- Return: scheduled to arrive at Bassano del Grappa railway station at 8:12 p.m.
- Lunch: a packed lunch provided by the school.
- Supervision: students will be accompanied by their class teachers.
Please note that this activity is an official school trip and constitutes a full school day taking place outside the school premises. Students who do not participate will be marked absent in the electronic register.
