The new week began with exciting learning experiences outside the classroom. PS3 and PS5 students took part in school trips, a valuable opportunity to deepen the knowledge gained in class through hands-on experiences, highlighting the school’s commitment to promoting active and meaningful learning.
Year 3 visited the Parco Archeologico Didattico del Livelet in Revine Lago (TV), a fascinating open-air museum that recreates prehistoric stilt houses. Immersed in nature, the children embarked on a journey back in time, discovering how ancient communities lived. Through guided activities and direct observation, they explored everyday life during the Neolithic period — from building techniques to tools, crafts, and traditions — developing a deeper understanding of human history and the origins of civilization.
The day at Livelet allowed the children to experience history in a concrete and engaging way, helping them appreciate the value of humanity’s roots.
Year 5, on the other hand, travelled to Trento to visit the MUSE – Museum of Science and Nature. The museum’s interactive exhibitions offered a dynamic journey through science, technology, and sustainability. The students also took part in the workshop “007 – Missione matematica”, an engaging activity that put their logic, intuition, and teamwork to the test. It was a constructive and fun experience for everyone, showing them how mathematics can truly become a secret agent’s mission!
The visit to MUSE opened a window onto the present and the future, encouraging students to observe the world with a scientific mindset and curiosity toward innovation.
Both experiences were valuable moments of growth and learning, enriching the school curriculum with authentic and stimulating experiences.
