As we close a school year full of milestones, at Rosà we are already shaping the next chapter. The interventions you will see taking form in the coming months are not simply building works: they are educational choices answering the question we ask ourselves every day, namely how to make our students’ learning experience better.
At the heart of these investments is the Quantum Lab, the first phase of a new laboratory integrated with our existing Steve Jobs Lab. It is a space where artificial intelligence stops being a topic to be explained and becomes something students can touch, program and truly understand. We will be working with Makeblock mBot2 + AI Camera 2.0, Photon AI Kit, Dobot Magician and the Unitree Go2 Robot Dog. Dedicated zones for robotics, IoT and AI development will let us bring tangible projects into the classroom, from smart-city models to IoT weather stations.
For our youngest students we are introducing the Meadow Trail: not a playground, but an educational environment designed to support physical, cognitive and social development. Climbing structures, balance pathways, playhouses for symbolic play, Spider Web nets that stimulate spatial awareness and logical-mathematical thinking. Everything has been designed as an inclusive and shared space, with accessible pathways and multiple entry points.
Finally, a piece of work that often goes unnoticed but matters to us deeply: the façade refurbishment. A thorough process (high-pressure cleaning, sanitising bactericidal treatment, water-based consolidating primer, mineral skim coat, sponge-floated finishing plaster) that will give our buildings a brighter, healthier and longer-lasting appearance.
Grow. Innovate. Improve. Three verbs we commit to living out together, every day.
