We would like to inform you that on Wednesday, March 25, an educational trip has been organized for class L1 to Bassano del Grappa. During the trip, students will take part in a guided tour of the Remondini Printing Museum at Palazzo Sturm, as well as a guided visit to the Civic Tower.
Purpose of the trip:
The aim of this outing is to introduce students to the history of the Remondini family, the most important dynasty of printers in Europe during the 18th century. Through this visit, students will understand how technological innovation in printing enabled the global spread of culture and images.
Learning objectives:
- Technology: To learn about printing techniques (woodcut and engraving) and the evolution of pre-industrial machinery (presses and plates).
- History: To explore the connection between the Bassano area and the international market in the 18th century.
- Art and Communication: To analyze graphics and illustration as early forms of mass communication.
Organizational details:
- Departure from school at 9:00 a.m.
- Return to school at 3:30 p.m.
- Packed lunch provided by the school
Students will be accompanied by teachers Roberto De Souza and Chiara Marin.
Please note that this activity is part of the school’s educational trips; therefore, it is considered a regular school lesson held in a different location. In case of non-participation, the absence will be recorded in the electronic register.
