Dear Parents,
We would like to inform you that we have organized an educational field trip to the Bassano del Grappa Fire Station for the Reception class on Thursday, May 21st.
The aim is to meet one of the Community Helpers we have studied in Reception and understand their role and to encourage respect and trust, connecting classroom learning to the real world.
Educational objectives:
- Understand the daily life and duties of a firefighter;
- To observe how they work as a team;
- To see first hand the tools and equipment used during emergencies;
- To learn about fire hazards and who to call when in need.
Organizational Details
Departure from H-IS Rosà: by bus at 9:30 AM
Return to Rosà: by 12.30PM.
The students will be accompanied by their teachers, Pauline and Lizz.
Please be reminded that this activity is an integral part of the school curriculum; therefore, it is considered a regular lesson held off-site.
