Dear Parents,
We would like to inform you that on Thursday, 15 October, the Primary 2 classes will take part in an educational trip to the MeVe – Veneto Memorial of the Great War in Montebelluna.
Programme
The experience will include:
- A sensory guided tour: using their five senses, students will explore four centuries of history through the rooms of Villa Correr Pisani and the MeVe exhibitions, discovering the past through objects, sounds, images and environments.
- The “Timeline” workshop: through games and practical activities, students will learn to understand and organise events in time, exploring the concepts of “before, after, during and at the same time” and putting events in chronological order.
Aims and learning objectives
The trip will offer students a hands-on and multisensory experience of history, fostering curiosity, active participation and an understanding of the local historical and cultural heritage. The activities will also help develop observation skills and an understanding of how to use a timeline.
Practical information
Departure: from H-IS Rosà at 9:00 a.m. Please ensure that students arrive at school on time so that the bus can leave as scheduled.
Return: students are expected to return to Rosà at approximately 3:30 p.m., in time for those who normally use the school bus to return home.
Lunch: a packed lunch will be provided by the school.
Supervision: students will be accompanied by their class teachers.
Please note that this activity is considered a school educational trip and is therefore part of the school day, taking place off campus. In case of non-participation, the absence will be recorded in the electronic register.
