Dear Parents,
Year 2 students will visit the educational farm “L’Ape Nostra Amica” in Mussolente on Tuesday, 22 September, accompanied by their class teachers.
With the help of an experienced beekeeper, students will discover the fascinating world of bees and learn about their role in nature, from the life of a bee colony to honey production and pollination. They will also have the opportunity to taste some local products.
Practical information:
Departure: 9:00 a.m. from school
Return: 3:00 p.m.
Lunch: a packed lunch will be provided by the school. Please send your child with only a morning snack and a small bottle of water.
As this trip is part of the school’s educational programme, it will count as a school lesson held off campus. Students who do not participate will therefore be marked as absent in the electronic register.
